sabira Rajbhandari 4 weeks agoI am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Best Buy. Before purchasing an Apple Watch and Meta Glasses, I specifically asked about the return policy because I am a paid Total Tech member and have been told that I had an extended return window. After using the watch for a few weeks, I realized I simply did not need it since I already owned another Apple Watch. When I returned to the store after 22 days, I first had to reset my Apple ID password and remove the watch from my account, which took considerable time and effort. After finally completing that process, I was informed by the manager, James, that the watch was a cellular model and therefore subject to a restocking fee. I was never made aware of this at the time of purchase and honestly did not even realize the watch was a cellular version. What disappointed me most was not just the $45 restocking fee, but the fact that I was only offered store credit instead of having the refund returned to my original payment method. Despite explaining the situation and asking for consideration as a loyal customer and long-time Total Tech member who pays nearly $200 per year for membership benefits, no flexibility was shown. I have been shopping at Best Buy for approximately 27 years and have spent well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars over that time. This is, without question, one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had. Loyal customers deserve transparency, fairness, and a willingness to help when issues arise. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling that customer loyalty means very little to Best Buy.
Ree Issa a month agoBest Buy in Timonium is well kept and near. Went in to purchase earbuds for a trip because and Marvin answered all my questions and stayed with me to help choose what better fits my needs and checking inventory for me. There was limited stock because of the Memorial day sale. Didn't make a purchase because the color 8 wanted wasn't there but the customer service was great and the store was neat and clean.
Carlos Benette a month agoPoor customer service. Quick to take your money but omg so fast to kick your in your ass when something goes wrong with the item. I purchased a tv that unfortunately was damaged, bc as soon as pluggedit in at home the screes had a huge cut not just a simple damage corner it was a huge cut, i have pruchased a protection plan and they guided me to take the damage item back where i got it from, so I brought it back to the store and omg I tell you they are super quick to turn you around and tell you that it was your fault bc of a absurd amounts of reason, its insane and sad the fact that this ppl is so quick to get your money but so difficult to take care of the damages items they sell.
Brendan Space a month agoMy husband went to Best Buy today to buy Pokemon cards. If you don’t know they are hard to come by and he was pleased to see they had stock. However when he got to the counter they DISCRIMINATED against AND PREJUDICIALLY PROFILED him. They said he had already been there and they would not sell them to him. They said they had “recording” of him being there but he was never there cause he was at work. So they lied and when he continued to claim he wasn’t the staff got ruder and ruder to him. They eventually sold to him (maybe that “recording” was wrong). And even then they were disrespectful. This whole situation was uncalled for and that manager needs to be talked to who was working customer service. They illegally profiled someone and lied about it. We will be reaching out to corporate.
Keith P. 8 months agoPaid everything up front in advance and waited a month for delivery of a 16.6cu fridge for a 2nd floor apt. The delivery team showed up this morning and didn't even take the new fridge inside. Left it right in the street while I pleaded with them to at least try. They said it would not fit up the staircase. I specifically bought the new fridge smaller than the one they were going to replace and haul away to be sure that the delivery wouldn't be a problem (I've had this happen with other deliveries). The staircase has a turn but it is wide enough and tall enough to fit appliances as I have had them delivered before. I told them the fridge they are replacing is bigger than the one they are delivering. Lots of shrugging of shoulders, nodding heads, and broken English attempting to not be able to provide me with clear answers. I even used Google translate to force them to give me answers to why they wouldn't measure the hallway. They didn't measure the staircase. I called both the store and delivery dept. who both shared with me very hypothetical excuses why they could not deliver. "This could happen or that could happen....". Dont waste your time or money with Best Buy because they will take your money and then treat you like a bygone transaction instead of making the slightest attempt to deliver the customer service you would expect from a big box store with professional resources. All of their services and suppprt sound great in the store, but your experience will greatly decline as soon as you've swiped your credit card.
