Best Buy A deeply frustrating and unacceptable customer experience that reflects a breakdown between automation and human support. A Meta VR headset was ordered on June 3rd and successfully delivered to the same address without any issue, confirming the address works for delivery. A second order placed on June 12th for a ring was accepted, charged, and scheduled for delivery on June 16th. Everything appeared normal until June 15th, when the order was abruptly canceled one day before delivery. No proactive communication was provided—only a generic cancellation email after the fact. When contacting support, the situation became significantly worse. The call lasted over 90 minutes and was recorded. During that time, the issue was escalated through multiple representatives (around 10 agents), yet no one was able to provide a consistent explanation or take meaningful action to resolve it. The underlying cause appeared to be an automated system decision flagging the address as a hotel, despite a prior successful delivery to the same address from the same company. The key issue is that the system (AI-driven or automated review) failed, and there was no human authority capable of overriding or correcting what was clearly a fixable and contradictory error. Despite repeated attempts to resolve it, every representative was limited by the same constraints, with no escalation path that led to an actual correction or reinstatement of the order. The result was a rigid system where automation overruled common sense, and human support had no power to intervene. Overall, this reflects poor system design, weak escalation capability, and an absence of accountability when automated decisions are wrong. The experience was time-consuming, unresolved, and entirely avoidable. Best buy has lost a Customer. Stop replacing humans with AI. Give the humans the power to override a stupid AI decision. Common sense seems to be absent for Best Buy. And yes I have the recordings to prove it.

Customers need to be aware that if they change their phone number all past purchases along with extended warranty purchases will vanish completely on their old phone number and will not be transferred to their new phone number. Warranties are essential or we would not buy them. But to completely remove your entire purchase history is not acceptable. After experiencing such earlier a few months ago with a carpet cleaner that was resolved I thought it was fixed. Now my earbud is having issues and corporate can’t find any purchases under the old phone number prior to the new phone number being added. Now I’ll have to buy a brand new earbud because this one will not be able to be repaired or replaced. Shame on Best Buy for this issue.

I am writing this in complete frustration with LG Electronics and Best Buy. My husband and I purchased an LG TV less than a year ago, and it has already completely stopped working. A television should not fail in under a year — especially not from a brand that claims to stand behind its products. The quality has been incredibly disappointing. What is even more unacceptable is the customer service experience. We reported this issue THREE WEEKS AGO. Since then, we have made repeated calls, spent hours on hold, been transferred from department to department, and every single time we are told something different. No one can actually help us. No one takes responsibility. No one follows through. We purchased the warranty in good faith, expecting protection and support if something went wrong. Instead, we have been left without a working TV for weeks with absolutely no resolution in sight. Every time we call, it feels like we are starting from scratch. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no clear timeline for repair or replacement. This experience has been beyond unacceptable. We are paying customers who trusted this brand, and we feel completely ignored. If someone from LG actually cares about customer satisfaction, we expect immediate contact and a real resolution — not another scripted apology and transfer. We simply want what we paid for: a working television and service that honors the warranty. At this point, we are demanding action.

Best Buy is one of the only remaining big-bix tech specialists. From computer parts, to monitors and TV screens, to weird, rare chargers and adapters, to full-on appliances- Best Buy has you covered. The prices are on-par with competitors, as well, so you aren't getting gouged. In addition, Best Buy will also take used and damaged electronics (excluding batteries) free of charge. They know how expensive it is to properly dispose of electronics, and don't want people to toss it in trash headed for the landfill. What a convenient service!

Best Buy provides the most horrible customer service. Plus their overseas customer service phone service is the worse!! They have fraud schemes between their employees and warehouses. I bought an 85’ Sony TV plus a membership and the membership was applied to a male living in Florida when I am a female and live in California. The 3rd party warehouse delivered a used and dusty 85’ Samsung TV. I have been calling, emailing, and going to their store since February 16, 2025, and as of today June 6, 2025 they cannot provide me with a proper solution. The $49.99 membership still on the account of the person in FL and the Samsung TV sitting in my living room. Thwy never offered me a refund, to pick up the Samsung TV they delivered and provide me with the Sony TV I bought. Their sales managers, their customer experience managers are useless. They admitted to the mistake listed on their paperwork and the picture of the TV delivered and they kept telling me “we have to investigate” They stopped answering me. This is by far the worse customer experience I’ve had with any store. I hope they go bankrupt!!
