When I started shopping for our kitchen appliances and researching extended warranty, Best Buy’s geek squad got the best reviews, hands-down! The website wasn’t very user-friendly so we ended up going into the store and I’m so glad that we did! Jose was absolutely incredible and made what could have been an overwhelming appliance shopping experience so easy and enjoyable. We came in looking to purchase an entire kitchen package including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and refrigerator, and Jose truly went above and beyond from start to finish. We originally had lower prices from Lowe’s, but preferred Best Buy because of the Geek Squad extended warranty and service. Jose carefully went through every single appliance we were considering, which started at around 12 different options, and explained the differences between each one in a way that was so knowledgeable, patient, and easy to understand. He never rushed us or made us feel pressured. What impressed us most was that he didn’t just price match the Lowe’s pricing. He went out of his way to find additional promotions and discounts on the exact appliances we wanted and actually ended up beating the Lowe’s price we walked in with. On top of that, he even gave us his personal cell number in case we had any follow up questions or needed to make any changes after we left, which really showed how much he cares about his customers. Jose was friendly, honest, professional, and genuinely cared about helping us make the best decision for our home and budget. It’s rare to find customer service like this anymore. If you’re shopping for appliances at Best Buy, ask for Jose. You will be in amazing hands! thank you, Jose!!!!!

BEST BUY LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER. I bought an iMac and ended up returning it because of the bad experience I had with the My Best Buy Plus membership and customer service. I accepted the $29.99 membership, canceled it almost immediately, and NEVER USED ANY OF ITS BENEFITS, but they still did not refund my money. Customer service over the phone was terrible, and the store did not resolve anything either. I have bought many things from Best Buy: phones, laptops, tablets, iPads, keyboards, TVs, and products worth over $2,500. That is why it is disappointing that such a large company would act this way over $29.99. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY; IT IS ABOUT THE PRINCIPLE. In my experience, this membership provided no real value. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and after this, I will start looking for other places to shop.

Very friendly staff. security guard for the store literally had a running count of the number of people who are not employees and have entered the store... Never seen that before haha 😂 he was cool tho. Found out about the fact you are able to get trading cards and I am not usually in luck with finding them at the Walmart and Target stores b/c they're always sold out. Only thing I have a complaint about is that I saw almost zero phone cases for my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Best Buy on La Brea delivers a solid shopping experience—it’s a very good store overall, with a wide selection of electronics, appliances, and gadgets, just as you’d expect. That said, it’s also very much a typical Best Buy: lots to browse, not always easy to find someone to help right away. The staff, when available, are knowledgeable and friendly. Once I got someone’s attention, they were genuinely helpful and knew their stuff. But getting there took some patience—they were clearly stretched thin, helping multiple customers at once. Product selection was broad, with a ton of models across brands, but frustratingly, they were out of stock on the most popular versions of what I came in to get. It’s the classic case of “everything except the one you want.” Still, being able to see and handle the options in person was useful, and I was able to make a solid second-choice purchase. The location is convenient, and the store is clean and well-organized. Overall, a very good experience—just not quite seamless. Four stars.

I always have a great experience at this Best Buy location. It’s never crowded, which makes shopping stress-free, and the free underground garage parking is such a bonus—especially on rainy days. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. Today, Gaby from Meta went above and beyond. She was so sweet and patient, and really took her time to help me make the right choice for a gift. I truly appreciated her care and attention. Highly recommend this location!
