Bought Bose Ultra Open Earbuds $200+ from Best Buy on Dec 20, 2025. One bud stopped charging after light use Best Buy refused the exchange, citing their 15-day standard policy "60 days only for paid Plus/ Total members". The holiday extension to Jan 15, 2026 didn't help since today is Feb 19 Bose has a 90 day return and a 1 manufacturer's warranty, Best Buy could have easily swapped them and claimed the warranty from Bose, keeping a loyal customer. But instead, they force you into a direct manufacturer contact. Bose is replacing them under their warranty with no problem. Which begs the question, why shop Best Buy? Bose.com offers 90-day returns with free shipping. Amazon gives 30 days. Target 30 to 90. Walmart 30 days. For $200+ gear with occasional early defects, you'd probably have better odds spending it in a casino.

Worst shopping experience I have ever had. When I went to exchange a product, the cashier treated me in a very disrespectful way. He laughed at me in a mocking tone, as if I did not know what I was talking about, and made unpleasant comments in front of other customers. He made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable throughout the entire interaction. I have never been treated like this in any store before. After that, I spoke with the supervisor, who was very kind, listened to my concerns, apologized, and treated me with respect. I appreciate her professionalism. However, the cashier’s behavior completely ruined my experience. This was honestly the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.

I’ve visited this Best Buy location multiple times over the past few weeks, and every single experience has been disappointing. I came in intending to purchase both a phone and a laptop, but ended up leaving empty-handed each time due to extremely poor customer service. Despite multiple staff members being present, no one was willing to genuinely assist. You’re asked, “How can I help you?”- but beyond that, there is no real follow-through. On one visit, I was trying to view an iPhone on display but couldn’t even access it properly. When I asked for help, the response was dismissive: “It is what it is.” No effort was made to assist or demonstrate the product. On another visit, I asked about Lenovo laptops (specifically a ThinkPad). I was vaguely told they “should be there,” but when I couldn’t find it and asked for help, the response felt irritated and reluctant. Eventually, I was told it was out of stock..something that could have been checked upfront instead of wasting time. I’ve even visited with my 2.5-year-old toddler, standing there waiting patiently, and still received no acknowledgment or basic courtesy from the staff. It honestly feels like customers are an inconvenience here rather than the reason the store exists. The lack of professionalism, attentiveness, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I kept returning only because this is the closest location to me..but after repeated negative experiences, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you expect even minimal customer service.

Recently I purchased an open box monitor from Best Buy that was listed in excellent condition. Within 3 months the cooling unit completely failed, and due to it being outside the return policy Best Buy wasn’t willing to help. The degradation of the cooling unit was over the course of these months and I was usually able to trouble shoot it until now. I’m incredibly disappointed in this store for selling faulty units marked as excellent. The geek squad personnel were nice when I came in to discuss this, but all the team could do is recommend the manufacturer warranty. So now I have to ship my 1000$ ultrawide monitor back to the manufacturer and go two weeks without a work monitor.

Somebody is at this store stealing credit card numbers and I got charged $3200. Go to the other Best Buy or you are risking it. I had to get the cops involved. Since I had proof the cops forced them into giving me my money back. But the point is, I had to deal with the cops before unprofessional management refused to refund me.
