Very slow service , they have checkout , returns and exchanges in the same line. So if you need to pay something you need to wait if you have returns in front of you which take longer. Your have a separate line for checkout since is faster to just pay.

Louie was awesome to work with. He helped us decide on the perfect TV without making the process feel overwhelming or pushy. Super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain everything clearly so we felt confident with our decision. I would like to share my experience with store clerk Devin. He deserves all the stars because he was polite, attentive, and prompt. I was told to wait at a counter for help and after waiting for 30+ minutes Devin stepped in and stepped up. And because of his professionalism I felt the need to share. Happy Holidays to you Devin and I hope you get great commission!!! I went in to buy a VR set for Christmas and he succeeded with assistance.

This place is terrible. I asked basic questions about laptops and no one knew how to answer them. All the employees seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Asked where I can find specifics on extended warranty and they had no clue. In addition, I asked them to help me find it on the website and they said they couldn’t. Poor customer service no leadership and no clue what was going on. Do yourself a favor don’t come to this location.

This has been one of the most disappointing retail experiences I have ever had with Best Buy. I purchased an Xbox Ally on October 25th as a Christmas gift, understanding that the item was out of stock and would arrive later. I made the purchase early to ensure the gift would be ready on time. Instead, the entire process became a complete failure on Best Buy’s part. Shortly after purchasing, the order status falsely showed that the item had already been picked up the same day. This information was incorrect. I reached out to customer care and even visited another location in San Marcos, but no one could help. All I received were conflicting answers and instructions directing me back to the original store. When I visited the Chula Vista location, I was informed that the item I paid for was never actually in stock and should not have been sold in the first place. The associate who assisted me, Aiden, apologized but placed blame on his coworker. He informed me that the new arrival date would be January 2, which contradicted the previous date I was given of December 12. When I asked for the issue to be escalated, I was told no. I left the store frustrated, and minutes later I received an email stating that I had authorized the cancellation of my order. This is completely false. I never approved any cancellation. I immediately returned to the store and was then told that the cancellation was done because the manager, Eddie, instructed it. Calling this “protocol” does not justify cancelling an order without the customer’s consent. It is unacceptable for a major company to operate this way. I was sold an item that did not exist in their system. I was given incorrect information multiple times. My order was cancelled without permission. And now I am expected to pay again and wait until 2026 for a gift that was purchased well in advance for Christmas. Customer care also failed to assist in resolving the issue. I expected a much higher level of integrity and professionalism from Best Buy. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on the company.
