Came in just to window shop and Jayden in computers helped me out so much. He stayed with me for an hour informing me of everything I needed to know about a new p.c and walked me through everything I would need to get started. 10/10 service is will definitely be coming back! I just came back and Nate gave us amazing help today. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about headphones and sound quality the team here is fantastic. Bestbuy you got to keep good workers like Jayden and Nate!

Terrible customer service was in the store for 30 min and noone offered any help. No place for bike parking or security, once I asked about my bike she suggested nothing other than "dont shop here". I couldn't believe it. But I my professional opinion I would suggest noone shop here.

⭐ 1 Star – Long-Time Customer With Extended Warranty Treated Like a Thief I’ve shopped at Best Buy for years and have spent well over $10,000 there. On top of that, we pay over $200 every year for the extended warranty/TotalTech plan to protect the products we buy. Despite all of that loyalty, my experience with the manager at the Independence Blvd Best Buy in Virginia Beach was beyond unacceptable. I purchased a Razer controller about a month ago. Like any gamer, I actually use my controller—daily gaming, sweating, normal wear and tear. Over time, the serial number sticker wore off, which is not unusual for something that’s constantly handled. The controller developed stick drift, so I came in for an exchange with the original box and all original accessories. The manager immediately refused to help because the sticker was gone. Even after I went home, plugged the controller into my computer, and pulled the serial number digitally, he still refused to exchange it. No attempt to help, no escalation, no discretion—just a flat refusal. What made this worse was the tone and implication. The way this was handled felt like I was being accused of theft, despite having proof of purchase, the original packaging, and paying for extended warranties specifically meant for situations like this. Controllers are meant to be used. Stickers wear off. Stick drift is a known defect. Paying hundreds of dollars a year for protection only to be denied help over a worn sticker is ridiculous. This manager showed zero customer service, zero problem-solving ability, and zero respect for loyal customers. If this is how Best Buy treats people who spend thousands and pay yearly for protection plans, then the value of those plans is highly questionable. Extremely disappointing experience. I’ll be reconsidering where I spend my money going forward.

This isn't about this specific store but more about best buy support. We ordered the galaxy bud 3 pros as a Christmas gift for my wife's father. We had planned to use the ai interpreter for Christmas when he visited to communicate with him because he doesn't speak English. Sadly, best buy shipped a refurbished iPad instead of the ear buds. When talking to support, they said return the iPad to fedex, and we'll reship the ear buds. They'll arrive the week after Xmas. I asked them if we could pick up from a nearby best buy 2 days before Xmas and they said it was out of stock at all stores in the area. Just checked the stock myself now that I had time and all the best buys around me have multiple in stock. Unless they all got shipments today, he lied to get me of the phone. No gift for my wife's father, and unable to communicate with him as well. Xmas isn't ruined, but my idea of best buy is.

What a letdown… I went in to purchase a lens for a Mother’s Day treat to myself💕 I observed the manager/ lead notice me checking out a lens and continued to have his meeting. Not a problem. Due to my time constraints I walked into the huddle and asked for assistance. He pointed at a worker and pointed for him to help me. The worker was helpful, explained the benefits of my Best Buy membership and was doing well. Then the manager stood there without greeting me and was very pushy about insurance. I declined and joked it off and then he started mentioning how they don’t get commission and he became a bit much. Please train your leadership when a customer says “no thank you” in a nice tone.. that still means no. Very pushy and very much made what could’ve been a fulfilling experience of treating myself into a morning of defending my “no, thank you.” Please.. Do Better.
